They were friendly, attentive and did their jobs very well. I am giving this rating a two and not a one because of the bar staff. It was a celebration for a friend however and considering the number of attractions within the town we reluctantly paid. We decided to head to the bar to get some drinks because alcohol is not allowed on the casino floor (What!?) and was promptly smacked in the face with a $10 cover charge to go drink at the bar because some 17 year old was "DJing" and I use the term loosely. That is a lot of jobs the casino took away from the community when they installed TV screens with looped videos of half dressed dealers. New Mexico is such a poor state and there are so many people who need jobs. I am extremely unhappy with the virtual attendant situation. So that may be why I was so drastically disappointed. ![]() I am a city girl and it is true that I am used to casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Address: 3901 West Millen Drive Hobbs, NM 88240. Perhaps it is because it was my first experience going to a casino that is ran completely by virtual attendants aside from the folks at the door, perhaps it was the overwhelming smell of crude oil that constantly waifed through the building or perhaps it was the feeling of being squished into a tin can because they have crammed as many machines as possible into a very tiny space.
